The path that led me here.
For over 24 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of behavior, communication, and connection. I’ve supported dogs through fear, aggression, and anxiety—and helped the people who love them make sense of the chaos. I’ve mentored fellow trainers, guided veterinary teams, led shelter initiatives, and stood behind the camera wrangling canine talent for commercials and campaigns.
The throughline? Dogs who don’t fit neatly into boxes—and the humans ready to meet them with care.
What Guides My Work
At Wolf Moon Behavior Consulting, training is more than obedience. It’s about resilience, relationship, and real-life results. My work is built on:
Clarity and compassion for both ends of the leash
Evidence-informed methods grounded in modern behavioral science
Empathy-forward coaching that honors the emotional lives of dogs and humans
Partnership over pressure—no force, fear, or “quick-fix” tools
A belief in process, not perfection
I don't believe in overpowering behavior. I believe in understanding it—so we can create lasting change that feels good for everyone involved.
Who I Work With
Behavior challenges can happen anywhere—on a walk, in a living room, in a vet clinic, or on a sound stage. That’s why I support:
Pet guardians seeking help with reactivity, aggression, fear, or frustration
Veterinary teams and referring DVMs needing collaborative, compassionate behavior support
Animal professionals—trainers, groomers, shelter staff—looking to level up with hands-on, practical mentorship
Media and production crews working with dogs on set, from casting to final cut
What Matters Most
At the heart of all of this is a belief that behavior work isn’t about control—it’s about connection. Whether you’re starting fresh, rebuilding after setbacks, or navigating something no one prepared you for, I’ll meet you there. With a plan. With presence. And with the kind of support that helps you—and your dog—move forward, together.
This work has taken me from shelter kennels to studio sets to classrooms—and each space has shaped the care I bring to dogs and the people who stand beside them.
Credentials & Experience
With over two decades of experience in behavior consulting, shelter leadership, education, and animal media, I bring a wide lens to every case I take on. My work blends evidence-based strategy with grounded, intuitive handling—whether I’m guiding a family through reactivity, mentoring a fellow professional, or coordinating a complex set shoot.
